Maddie Black is participating in the Iowa State Fair Queen competition this week. Maddie is a 2022 graduate. Maddie was a successful student while participating in multiple activities. Maddie was a FFA officer and a girls wrestling state second place winner in 2022. Maddie illustrated excellent leadership skills during her tenure in the EBF hallways.
The coronation ceremony occurs on Saturday evening at 7 pm at the Anne and Bill Riley Stage. All contestants are county queens from all over the state of Iowa. Maddie Black was the Jefferson County queen.
We would like to wish her the best and hope she fully enjoys the experience of the Iowa State Fair Queen competition.
Lauren Wells was the Wapello County 4-H Expo queen this summer, but is not a contestant in the Iowa State Fair Queen competition.
