4-H Emblem with Hall of Fame

Beth Fenton has been a special education instructor for 22 years at the Jr-Sr High School   She is recognized as a dedicated staff member and a member of the leadership team.  On Saturday, August 20th, she entered the 4-H Hall of Fame at the Iowa State Fair. 

Beth participated in 4-H since she was a young student in Eddyville.  All of her children participated in 4-H creating 4 generations of 4-H projects from her family tree.  Beth was a group leader for the Harrison Hustlers 4-H club for several years.  She became a horticulture superintendent for Mahaska County in 1985 which propelled her to several county and state fair judging opportunities.  She has chaperoned multiple 4-H participants to junior camps and state 4-H conferences.

Beth’s statement promoting 4-H is, “My favorite thing about 4-H is that it's fun - learning new things and helping others.”
