State VB Tournament to Begin

EBF Enters the 2A State Tounament Finals

The Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (EBF) girls' volleyball team made a significant mark in the 2024 Iowa Class 2A State Tournament by advancing to the finals. Their path to the championship match was solidified after a resilient performance against Dyersville Beckman in the semifinals, where they triumphed in four sets (3-1). This victory secured their spot in the finals against Denver.

EBF's tournament journey was marked by consistent determination, reflected in their earlier victory in the quarterfinals over Iowa City Regina, where they won in straight sets. The semifinal match tested their mettle and resilence, but EBF's effective teamwork created a successful outcome.

The finals matchup against Denver promises to be an intense battle between two well-prepared teams​. Denver is ranked #1, EBF is ranked #2.
