Tuesday was a great evening in Rocket Nation with both the EBF Rocket Cross Country team and Volleyball team competing!
XC Places 2, Great Runs By All
Well, truthfully, the headline says everything we need to say. Nonetheless, the Rockets took on the Osky Invitational hosted at Edmundson Park. One thing to note is that although we've trained on this course, the course itself is a tough one! From extensive down-hill sections to grueling up-hill stretches, this course is a great one to separate the weak from the strong. For our place winners, Lily Lee ended the night in 17th Place for High School Girls; Garrett Pumphrey took 7th in the High School Boys Division!
One of the XC Mottos of the year is that the body achieves what the body believes. Although it may sound cliche, it is without a doubt a very true statement. Many of our Rocket XC Athletes have been training for this season for months, and their hard work is showing on a weekly basis!
On Tuesday, September 23rd, we will host our home meet at EBFHS! We would love to see loads of Rocket Nation come out and cheer our athletes on! The races start at 4:30PM, but even if you are late, we'd still love to see you!
DC Volleyball Falls to EBF, Rockets Take Best of Five
The energy was high at Davis County High School last night as your EBF Rocket Volleyball took the Davis County Mustangs the distance in all 5 sets.
We saw incredible performance out of many, including 13 digs from Lacey Taylor, and Lindsay Akers with 5 blocks.
On the offense, we took control and demonstrated what Rocket Volleyball is about with Kinley Lobberecht who had 6 ace serves and 23 assists from Andrea Genskow! In addition, this past week Andrea was listed as 3rd in Class 2A Assists with 194 Assists going into last night's game!

10:30AM - EBF v. Fairfield
